Job Description

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity supporting early childhood students as a Special Education Teacher for the upcoming 2025-26 school year. Serving an elementary caseload, you'll have the chance to make a significant impact, working full-time between August 2026 and June 2027. We're looking for four dedicated professionals who are passionate about inclusive education and ready to create a positive learning environment.

Key Qualifications:

  • State certification in both Special Education and Elementary Education (dual certification required)
  • Proven experience in early childhood or elementary special education settings
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and implementation
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to create and maintain detailed instructional records
  • Commitment to fostering growth and independence in all learners

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet the individual needs of students with varying abilities
  • Implement IEPs while tracking and reporting on student progress
  • Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
  • Use evidence-based instructional strategies to promote student achievement
  • Participate in meetings, professional development, and school events as needed
  • Maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming classroom environment

This role offers a consistent weekday schedule of 32.5-37.5 hours per week, allowing for work-life balance while enabling you to focus on your students. Connect with a passionate educational community committed to supporting each child’s unique goals.

Applications from experienced dual-certified educators ready to make a difference are encouraged. If you’re driven to help young learners reach their full potential, submit your application today and take the next step in your teaching career!
