Make an impact in the lives of students by supporting communication development in an engaging school environment. This contract opportunity is perfect for a dedicated Speech-Language Pathology Assistant ready to work with elementary and preschool-aged children. This position is part-time, onsite, and spans the academic year from August 24, 2026, to June 17, 2027, with a flexible 21-hour workweek spread across three days.
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Active NH licensure as a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant is required
- Demonstrated school-based experience, preferably in elementary (2nd–5th grade) and early childhood settings
- Confidence in providing direct therapy to both group and individual students
- Comfortable servicing preschool populations as needed
- Familiarity or experience with ABA self-contained programs highly valued
- Completion of district-required fingerprinting process prior to start
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Implement speech/language therapy plans as designed by a supervising SLP
- Provide services to a 2nd–5th grade caseload with additional support to preschool students
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in adherence to district policies
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, families, and interdisciplinary teams
- Adjust strategies to best meet the varying needs of students in both general education and ABA self-contained programs
- Maintain professionalism and uphold ethical standards in all interactions
