JOB TITLE: Quality Inspector
POSITION REPORTS TO: Quality Manager
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for the quality of product, product assembly, and packaging in all areas of manufacturing.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE AS A QUALITY INSPECTOR AND MUST HAVE CONSISTENT LONGEVITY IN POSITIONS
- Perform thorough examinations of all materials and finished products
- Conduct and report internal audits and evaluations
- Implement and improve quality control operating procedures
- Identify and troubleshoot equipment problems and defects
- Participate in routine visual inspections
- Maintain a clean and safe environment work
- Document and record control;
- Control the non-conformance area (inventory, disposition, and associated costs.)
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous work experience in quality control, quality assurance, or other related fields is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, Powerpoint);
SUPPLEMENTAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Performs additional duties as directed.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
- High School education or equivalent
