Duration: 6 months contract
Compensation Range: $28.57-$35.71/hr W2Responsibilities:Administrative Support

Manage calendars and schedule donor meetings/travel for development staff

Coordinate logistics for donor visits and events

Prepare meeting materials, briefings, and post-meeting follow-up

Draft and send correspondence (thank-yous, updates, etc.)

Maintain accurate donor/prospect records in the database

Submit expense reports and monitor department budgets
Communication
-
Draft, proofread, and send newsletters, invitations, and marketing materials
-
Collaborate with Marketing to update alumni/giving webpages and social media
-
Support donor stewardship by drafting acknowledgment letters and managing gift acknowledgments

Act as point of contact for alumni, donors, volunteers, and university departments
Project & Event Management

Plan and manage logistics for internal and external development events
-
Track RSVPs and coordinate production needs for events

Partner with University Advancement, Alumni Relations, and Special Events teams
Database & Reporting

Ensure donor records and communications are consistently updated
-
Extract and analyze reports on donor engagement and development strategies
-
Track and prompt follow-up actions for leadership and faculty
General Support

Serve as liaison across multiple colleges and university departments
-
Take initiative on special projects or assignments as needed
Must HavesMust-Haves (Skills & Qualifications)

2 years of office experience (preferably in higher education or fundraising/development)

Strong organizational and time management skills

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database systems (like CRM or donor management software), and social media

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects

Comfortable working with senior administrators, faculty, donors, and alumni

Detail-oriented with ability to track budgets and reconcile expenses

Capable of handling confidential information with discretion
