Truck mechanic needed to perform maintenance and light/medium repairs on a clean fleet. Also, some light-duty truck work. Ensure proper accurate record-keeping. Diagnostic skills. Maintain a safe/clean work environment. Must have experience, tools and pride in work.
Salary based on experience.
Responsibilities:
- Diagnose and repair issues in diesel engines
- Diagnose and repair issues with hydraulics, brakes, transmission, steering, and other systems
- Perform preventative maintenance
- Perform welding or fabrication tasks on trailers and other equipment as necessary
- Prepare work orders and order parts
- Maintain a clean and safe workplace
Required qualifications
- CDL (Class A preferred)
- At least 4 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic is required
- Valid Driver's License
- ASE Certified (preferred but not required)
- Air brake
- Automotive electrical systems
- Automotive service
- Diesel engine repair
- HVAC
