Our success has created a need for a Fire Suppression Technician to work out of our Maine or New Hampshire Office.
What this position entails:
- Perform inspections, testing, and recharging of portable fire extinguishers.
- Assembling, installing, maintaining, and servicing fire suppression systems in commercial buildings throughout New England.
- Operate, test, and recharge equipment.
- Be the positive and professional representative of Interstate Fire Protection with our customers and other employees.
- Perform your work in a team setting, as well as individually.
What you need to perform it:
- Must be able to work at heights and lift at least 50lbs.
- Must have valid driver's license and willingness to travel within New England.
- Must be able to pass a background/driving record check as condition of employment.
- Have mechanical abilities and basic knowledge and use of hand tools.
