Job DescriptionWe are looking for an experienced Concierge to serve as the first point of contact for visitors and callers in our office. This Front Desk Coordinator role is ideal for someone who delivers a welcoming experience, manages front desk activity with strong attention to detail, and keeps daily communication flowing smoothly. This is a Long-term Contract position offering the opportunity to support a busy workplace through strong service, organization, and phone-handling skills.
Responsibilities:
• Welcome guests and employees with a courteous, detail-oriented approach while maintaining an organized and efficient front desk presence.
• Manage incoming calls through a multi-line phone system, directing inquiries accurately and ensuring prompt responses.
• Coordinate visitor check-in procedures and provide front desk assistance to support a positive on-site experience.
• Respond to general questions, route messages to the appropriate contacts, and help maintain smooth day-to-day front office operations.
• Monitor the reception area to ensure it remains presentable, secure, and ready to receive visitors and staff throughout the day.
• Support administrative front desk tasks such as handling basic correspondence, documenting visitor activity, and assisting with office coordination needs.• Experience performing front desk or receptionist responsibilities in an office setting.
• Ability to operate a multi-line switchboard or phone system handling high volumes of inbound calls.
• Strong customer service skills with a helpful and detail-oriented demeanor.
• Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to relay information clearly and accurately.
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities while remaining organized and attentive to detail.
• Comfort working on-site in Boston, Massachusetts in a client-facing environment.
