This opportunity is for an experienced inpatient pharmacist to support a hospital setting in Berlin, NH. The role involves providing pharmaceutical care across multiple departments including ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency. A strong candidate will have a solid background in hospital pharmacy and the ability to work autonomously, especially during weekend shifts.
Schedule/Hours:
- Monday to Friday, 7:00/7:30 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM (40 hours/week)
- Rotating weekends (every 3rd weekend), Saturday/Sunday 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Dispense and verify medication orders accurately and efficiently
- Provide pharmaceutical support to ICU, L&D, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency departments
- Manage medication inventories and maintain compliance with hospital policies
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient care
- Work independently during weekend shifts, ensuring seamless pharmacy services
- Utilize hospital IT systems including Meditech and Omnicell to support pharmacy operations
Desired Experience and Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years of hospital pharmacy experience
- Proven ability to work independently, particularly on weekends
- Prior experience with Meditech strongly preferred
- Familiarity with Omnicell systems a plus
- Strong clinical knowledge and excellent communication skills
