Adecco Staffing is working with a precision manufacturing company in Keene, NH to bring on a Diamond Turning Machinist! This is a full-time, long-term opportunity with room for growth.
Location: Keene, NH
Pay: $25-$40 an hour
Shifts: 1st Shift
We are seeking skilled machinists with experience in diamond turning or precision optics manufacturing. This role involves operating and maintaining highly specialized machinery used to produce ultra-precision components.
Job Duties:
• Set up and operate diamond turning machines for ultra-precision manufacturing
• Produce high-quality optical and metal components to exact tolerances
• Inspect parts using precision measurement tools (interferometers, microscopes, profilometers, etc.)
• Perform machine adjustments, offsets, and tooling changes as required
• Maintain accurate production and inspection records
• Follow all quality, safety, and cleanroom procedures
• Collaborate with engineers and technicians to troubleshoot and resolve production issues
• Maintain a clean and organized work area to support high-precision production
Requirements:
• Prior experience with diamond turning, CNC machining, or ultra-precision machining
• Strong understanding of microns, tolerances, and precision measurements
• Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings
• Experience working in optical, aerospace, semiconductor, or medical component manufacturing preferred
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to stand for the duration of the shift
• Reliable attendance and willingness to work overtime as needed

Pay Details: $25.00 to $40.00 per hour
