Life Enrichment Program Assistant / Activity Aide - 2- Full time positions

Some of the job responsibilities of the Life Enrichment Program Assistant / Activity Aide include:

• Implements life enrichment activities on all floors for all residents based on conditions and plans of care.

• Facilitate communication between the program and family members.

• Provides therapeutically friendly environment in the residents’ personal and congregate areas.

• Interviews and assesses all residents for Life Enrichment Program.

• Coordinate completion of preferences for customary routine and activities upon admission, annually or with significant change.

• Coordinate completion of preferences for customary routine and activities for the Care Area Assessments (CAA).

• Assists with the development of person-centered care plans for residents and update progress in the quarterly notes.

Qualifications of the Life Enrichment Program Assistant / Activity Aide

• High School Diploma or GED.

• Experience in the healthcare field required.

• Experience working with geriatric population preferred.

• Prior Life Enrichment / Activity Aide experience in a skilled nursing community is a plus.
