Job Description

Our client, a clinical-stage biotech company, is seeking an Executive Business Partner to support the CEO in a fast-paced, dynamic, and mission-driven environment. This individual will act as a strategic extension of the CEO, ensuring seamless execution of executive operations, managing complex calendars and priorities, and serving as a trusted liaison across internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

    \n
  • Executive Support: Manage the CEO’s complex calendar, travel, and logistics with discretion and proactivity, anticipating and resolving conflicts proactively.
  • \n

  • Strategic Coordination: Prepare meeting materials, agendas, briefings, and follow-ups for internal and external meetings. Review all prepared materials and correspondence for accuracy and consistency.
  • \n

  • Internal Communications: Serve as a conduit between the CEO and key internal stakeholders to ensure alignment, clarity, and execution of priorities.
  • \n

  • External Communications: Communicate with external stakeholders efficiently in a positive and professional manner, identifying and addressing any potential problems early.
  • \n

  • Project Management: Lead or support special projects and initiatives on behalf of the CEO, ensuring timelines, deliverables, and communications are on track.
  • \n

  • Board & Investor Coordination: Assist with the preparation and distribution of materials for board meetings, investor updates, and leadership offsites.
  • \n

  • Confidentiality & Discretion: Handle sensitive information with the highest degree of integrity and professionalism.
  • \n

  • Operational Excellence: Identify opportunities and propose solutions to improve workflows, administrative systems, and cross-functional coordination.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • 7+ years of experience supporting C-suite executives in fast-paced, high-growth, or matrixed environments
  • \n

  • Proven ability to anticipate needs, independently manage competing priorities, and operate with discretion
  • \n

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • \n

  • Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail
  • \n

  • Adept at managing multiple systems and tools (e.g., Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, Slack, Zoom, Asana, etc.)
  • \n

  • Emotionally intelligent, adaptable, and solutions-oriented
  • \n

  • Comfortable interacting with executive stakeholders, board members, and external partners
  • \n

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • \n
