Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference in the lives of students by supporting their educational journeys in a dynamic and supportive environment. This full-time, onsite contract opportunity is ideal for an experienced Special Education Teacher passionate about working with elementary-aged students who have significant cognitive and physical disabilities. With dedicated classrooms for K-1st and 3rd-5th grades, you’ll have the chance to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team and help create a nurturing, engaging learning atmosphere.

In these substantially separate classrooms, you’ll provide instruction, guidance, and care, including supporting students who are non-verbal or on the autism spectrum. You will also partner with classroom RBTs to enhance student progress. If you have experience with applied behavior analysis and specially designed instruction, this position will allow you to make a profound impact.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Valid Special Education Teacher licensure
  • Classroom experience serving students with severe disabilities (cognitive and physical)
  • Familiarity with applied behavior analysis and specially designed instruction
  • Experience working with non-verbal and spectrum students
  • Ability to support students with toileting and daily living needs
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Commitment to fostering an inclusive, supportive classroom culture

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Deliver differentiated instruction to meet diverse learning needs
  • Collaborate with RBTs, paraprofessionals, and related service providers
  • Collect and analyze student data to inform instruction
  • Communicate regularly with families and team members

This is a rewarding opportunity to work hand-in-hand with a passionate staff, making a real difference in students’ lives. The position is open to both local and travel professionals seeking a meaningful contract role in a supportive setting. Take the next step in your career—apply now to help students thrive!

Compensation for this position ranges from $24.00 to $47.00. Eligible candidates may also receive healthcare benefits, housing, and meals/incidentals. Full details of our healthcare benefits plan can be found here. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
