Job Description

Responsibilities:

Review production schedules and responsible for capacity resource planning to ensure that the customer’s requirements are being met
Working with GD&T, blueprints, sketches, operations sheets, and written and/or verbal instructions.
Working with different departments and support personnel as needed
Ensure accuracy of operations sheets and blueprints and flow of parts to next operation, work-center, or department.
Ensuring that employees and visitors are wearing the appropriate personal protective equipment
Ensuring that all prescribed safety rules are being followed.
Conduct and/or assist with accident investigations as required.
Troubleshoot problems, develop and implement solutions, notify department manager as necessary.
Make recommendations that will safely increase productivity while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Participate in the development of departmental budgets and monitor for compliance.
Assist with department audits as scheduled by Quality Assurance.
Train and develop employees and evaluate work performance.
Recommend personnel action and provide performance to management in regards to this
Conduct employee performance appraisal meetings and recommend wage adjustments.
Participate in employee selection process and recommend actions of employment termination.

Qualifications:

At least five years previous inspection experience
Strong knowledge of quality inspection tools, such as optical comparators, height gauges, and GD&T.
Reading and understanding blueprints
Previous experience running CNC machines would be a plus
Good verbal and written communication skills

Hours

Part-time Monday through Friday – 11am to 3pm

Full-Time – Monday through Friday – 7am to 3pm

The pay is as follows:

Part-time up to $28.00 an hour based on experience

Full-time up to $30.00 an hour based on experience
