Job Description Receiving Clerk – Forklift Operator Location: Westfield, MA
Pay: $20.00/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, Full-Time We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Receiving Clerk to join our team in Westfield, MA. This position is responsible for receiving incoming materials, verifying shipments, organizing inventory, and safely moving materials throughout the facility using a forklift. Responsibilities
- Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage
- Verify quantities and materials against packing slips and purchase orders
- Enter receiving information into the company’s computer system
- Label and organize incoming materials
- Safely operate a forklift to unload trucks and move materials
- Stage materials in designated storage areas
- Maintain accurate receiving and inventory records
- Communicate with warehouse, shipping, and purchasing teams regarding discrepancies
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow all company safety procedures and forklift operating guidelines
Qualifications
- Previous forklift experience required
- Prior warehouse, receiving, or shipping experience preferred
- Ability to read packing slips, purchase orders, and other shipping documents
- Basic computer skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to lift and move materials as required
- Dependable and able to work independently
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to workplace safety
Compensation $20.00 per hour This is a great opportunity for someone with forklift and warehouse experience who is looking for a stable, full-time position with a strong team.
