WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR IN A BEHAVIOR SPECIALIST

A degree or coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred, along with a preference for candidates who are Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT). Does that sound like you? If so, and you meet the following criteria, we want you as our Behavior Specialist!

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Experience working with people with special needs or in a residential care setting
  • Experience with special needs, ABA, PBS, or Trauma-Informed Care
  • Willingness to obtain CPR, First Aid, and non-violent physical intervention certifications within 3 months
  • Valid driver's license with reliable transportation

DAY-TO-DAY

As our full-time Behavior Specialist, you'll provide direct behavioral support in home, school, community, and clinic settings. You'll implement individualized Behavior Support Plans (BSPs) developed by BCBAs, collect detailed behavioral data, and assist in creating tailored interventions to improve outcomes. Your work will directly impact the growth and development of the individuals you serve, ensuring they receive the care and guidance needed to succeed.
