Director of Social Services
Job Summary:
AdviniaCare Salem, a compassionate and respectful senior lifestyle and care provider, is seeking a dedicated and caring Licensed Social Worker, LSW, LCSW, or LICSW to join our amazing team as a Director of Social Services. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in ensuring our residents receive holistic, person-centered care. What You'll Do:
• Be a key player in ensuring our residents receive holistic, person-centered care
• Lead efforts to address the psychological, social, and physical needs of residents and their loved ones
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, and administrative teams to create a true community of care
• Complete social assessments and gather important information at admission
• Maintain ongoing communication and support with residents' families
• Assist our Admissions Coordinator by giving thoughtful, welcoming tours to prospective residents and families
• Complete pre-admission assessments to help residents transition smoothly into our facility
What You Bring:
• A degree from an accredited school of social work
• Licensure in the state of practice (LSW, LCSW, or LICSW required)
• 2+ years of experience in long-term care preferred
• A heart for seniors and a passion for teamwork, problem-solving, and compassionate care
