Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide services within an elementary school setting. This role supports students communication needs by implementing individualized treatment plans in accordance with educational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations for elementary-aged students
- Develop and implement tailored therapy goals to improve communication skills
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support student progress
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school policies
- Participate in meetings and assist with Individualized Education Program (IEP) development
Qualifications:
- Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Certification as an SLP in a school setting
- Experience working with children in elementary school environments preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
