About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Director of Rehab PT or PTA to lead our rehabilitation team at St Johnsbury Center for Living and Rehabilitation. Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and management to the rehabilitation department, ensuring compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards

• Develop and implement effective rehabilitation programs and protocols, utilizing evidence-based practices and research-based interventions

• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans

• Ensure optimal patient outcomes, as measured by clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction

• Develop and manage department budgets, including staffing, supplies, and equipment

• Educate and mentor rehabilitation team members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives, identifying areas for improvement and implementing changes to enhance patient care

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, or related field

• 2+ years of experience in a leadership role, preferably in a rehabilitation setting

• Current PT or PTA licensure in the state of Vermont

• Certification in a specialty area (e.g., CHT, CPO) preferred

• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
