Paraprofessional Needed – Full-Time Contract

Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Previous experience as a Paraprofessional in an educational setting preferred
- Strong communication skills and a patient, supportive demeanor
- Ability to follow teacher instructions and adapt to changing classroom needs
- Collaborative spirit and comfort working with diverse age groups and learning abilities
- High school diploma or equivalent required; further educational background is a plus
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students with assignments, classroom participation, and social development
- Assist lead teachers in managing classroom behavior and implementing lesson plans
- Offer one-on-one or small group instruction under direction of the classroom teacher
- Support students with special needs to ensure an inclusive and safe learning environment
- Help with classroom organization, set up educational materials, and maintain a positive space for learning
- Monitor student progress and communicate observations to instructional staff
- Foster respectful, positive relationships with students, faculty, and families
