Rutland Center for Living and Rehab is excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our dedicated in-house rehabilitation team—now with an exciting $5,000 sign-on bonus for the right candidate.

We are seeking a compassionate and motivated Physical Therapist who is passionate about helping residents regain strength, mobility, and independence. Our therapy team works closely together in a supportive, collaborative environment focused on delivering high-quality, resident-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate residents and develop individualized physical therapy treatment plans

• Provide skilled therapy services focused on improving mobility, strength, balance, and functional independence

• Monitor resident progress and modify treatment plans based on clinical outcomes

• Educate residents, caregivers, and staff on therapy goals, mobility techniques, and safety practices

• Document evaluations, treatments, and progress accurately and timely using electronic medical records

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to support comprehensive resident care plans

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program

• Active Vermont Physical Therapist license required

• Experience in Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or long-term care preferred

• Strong communication, organizational, and clinical skills

• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems preferred
