Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This contract position is ideal for an SLP who is passionate about supporting communication and language development for students in elementary grades, including PreK through 8th. Enjoy working onsite with a manageable caseload of just 40 students, allowing you to provide dedicated, individualized interventions in a supportive environment.
Key Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences
- Active SLP license for Vermont or eligibility to transfer
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; strong Clinical Fellows (CFY) also encouraged to apply
- Experience with pediatric populations in healthcare, school, or similar settings
- Familiarity with IEP processes and school-based therapy documentation
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with students, teachers, and families
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to elementary students (PreK-8), addressing a variety of communication and language needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education programs (IEPs) in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Complete thorough assessments and progress reports
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to optimize student support
- Maintain accurate records and comply with district policies and timelines
This full-time, onsite role begins in August 2026 and runs through June 2027, providing the chance to see your students’ progress through the full academic year. The caseload size is intentionally kept small to allow for personalized attention and greater impact.
