Adecco Staffing is working with a manufacturing company in Laconia, NH to bring on a Manufacturing Engineer.
Position: Manufacturing Engineer
Shift: 1st Shift
Pay: $80,000 – $105,000/year (depending on experience)
Location: Laconia, NH
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Evaluate product designs for manufacturability and develop cost estimates for new and existing programs
- Lead new product introduction (NPI) activities including creating part numbers, BOMs, routings, and work instructions within ERP systems
- Provide hands-on support to the shop floor including troubleshooting, process improvements, and fixture development
- Oversee and maintain manufacturing processes such as brazing, heat treat, soldering, and welding to ensure efficiency and compliance
- Partner with cross-functional teams including sales, quality, production, and suppliers to support product development and execution
- Review and disposition non-conforming materials, including rework and scrap decisions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required
- 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment preferred (minimum 3 years considered)
- Experience with ERP systems (Oracle preferred) and strong understanding of BOM structures and process routing
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks preferred) and strong knowledge of GD&T and DFM principles
- Experience with NPI, Lean manufacturing, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement tools (8D, PFMEA, Control Plans, PPAP)
- Strong communication and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Knowledge of ISO9000 or AS9100 standards is a plus
- Experience in aerospace or defense manufacturing environments preferred

Pay Details: $80,000.00 to $105,000.00 per year
