-In-depth knowledge and understanding of local industry standards and regulations related to quality control, including ISO regulations
-Strong technical writer of procedures and policies
-Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with all levels of individuals across the organization and externally
-Demonstrated ability to anticipate potential problems and risks related to regulatory compliance, formulate plans, and implement solutions
-High degree of professionalism and integrity, holding self and other accountable
Education - Experience
-Ph.D required in science, engineering, or another relevant technical field
-5-7 years experience
Required Skills, Competencies, Authorities and Training Needs
-The Quality Manager is primarily responsible for the management and oversight of all aspects of QC
-Assess the quality management systems (QMS) for suitability and robustness
-Ensure compliance risks are mitigated, with appropriate corrective and/or preventive action plans developed and implemented
-Conduct root cause analysis for defects, non conformities, or other quality failures
-Document and track appropriate corrective and/or preventive actions
-Develop, audit, and maintain standard operating procedure (SOPs) documents
-Responsible for any internal and external audits
-Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely and appropriate responses and follow-up to inspection findings
-Will be responsible for liaising with relevant regulators and stakeholders
