Medical Assistant – Urgent Care
Location: Chestnut Hill, MA 02467
Contract Length: 13 Weeks
Hours: 40 hours/week
Shift: 10-Hour Days | 4x10s | Every Other Weekend
Typical Shifts: 9:00 AM–7:30 PM or 9:30 AM–8:00 PM
Position Overview:
Urgent Care clinic seeking an experienced Medical Assistant with strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Candidate must be comfortable with high patient volume and heavy hands-on duties.
Requirements:
- MA Certification required (must have at time of submission)

EPIC experience required
- Experience in Urgent Care or Emergency Department required
- BLS (AHA) required
- Locals accepted
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform EKGs, vital signs, wound care, splinting, crutch-walking assistance, and ADL support
- Assist providers during examinations and procedures
- Perform phlebotomy, specimen collection, and POCT per protocols
- Document results accurately and promptly in the medical record
- Maintain supply inventory and restock medical, surgical, and office supplies
- Clean and prep equipment per standards
- Conduct regular patient rounding and communicate delays
- Support clinic workflow and assist leadership as needed
