We’re seeking a hands-on SMT Manufacturing Technician to join a growing production team in Portsmouth, NH. In this role, you’ll operate and maintain automated SMT (Surface Mount Technology) equipment to produce printed circuit boards for electronic assemblies. Key Responsibilities

Set up and operate SMT equipment, including screen printers, solder paste inspection machines, pick & place machines, reflow ovens, and conveyors

Replenish component reels using automated splicing tools

Monitor equipment performance, perform basic troubleshooting, and escalate issues as needed

Hand-place electronic components on circuit boards when required

Conduct routine preventive maintenance on production equipment

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area

Follow safety and quality procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications

High school diploma or GED
-
6+ months of assembly or machine operation experience

1 year of SMT experience preferred

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a collaborative environment
