Green Mountain Higher Education Consortium (GMHEC) is a collaborative initiative among Champlain College, Middlebury College, and Saint Michael’s College in Vermont. The consortium focuses on reducing administrative costs and streamlining shared services across the three institutions. We’re looking for a Procurement Specialist to join our team!
\n
\n
You’ll have a hand in both the strategic deal-making and the operational execution: negotiating high-value vendor proposals and relationships while optimizing user-friendly purchasing processes for our member colleges. This role supports procurement across several purchasing opportunities in the higher education industry, including technology & systems, supplies, and services.

We are looking for someone who is:

- Systems oriented, with experience in an ERP system, like Oracle
- Knowledgeable about vendor contracts

Working closely with stakeholders at our member colleges, you’ll have a direct hand in shaping how our member institutions procure essential goods and services. By driving cost efficiencies and securing top-tier partnerships, your work directly frees up critical resources that empower our member colleges and their students to thrive. - Burlington, VT / Hybrid Remote, with occasional travel to member campuses
- 5–7 years of procurement experience, Bachelor's degree
- Experience in higher education is helpful
- $75,000 - $85,000 annual salary, paired with a comprehensive benefits package
