Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) – ICU / Critical Care
Location: Falmouth, MA 02540
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Shift: Night Shift | 3x12 Hours
Hours: 07:00 PM – 07:00 AM | 36 Hours/Week
Schedule Requirement: Every Other Weekend & Rotating Holidays
Job Summary
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week contract opportunity in an acute care hospital setting. The ideal candidate will have strong critical care experience managing high-acuity patients in a fast-paced ICU environment.
The RN will provide comprehensive patient care through assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation while collaborating closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care using the nursing process
- Monitor, administer, and evaluate medications and treatments
- Perform ongoing patient assessments and maintain accurate documentation
- Support ventilator care and hemodynamic monitoring
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare teams on patient care plans
- Respond effectively to emergency and critical care situations
- Maintain compliance with infection control and patient safety standards
- Utilize EMR and computerized charting systems efficiently
- Float to Med/Surg Tele units as needed based on patient census
Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN License required
- Minimum ICU/Critical Care nursing experience required
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Strong critical thinking and emergency response skills
- Experience with ventilator care and hemodynamic monitoring preferred
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- BSN preferred
Certifications Required
- AHA BLS Certification
- ACLS Certification
