Senior Accountant - SaaS
Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)

Position Overview:
The company is actively searching for an experienced Senior Accountant to join their expanding team. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, the Senior Accountant will play a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting and analysis for the company. Responsibilities:
- Manage the month-end and year-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial statement review
- Analyze financial data and trends to provide insights and recommendations to management for strategic decision-making
- Assist with the preparation of financial forecasts, budgets, and variance analysis
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper accounting treatment for new revenue streams, customer contracts, and business initiatives
- Collaborate with external auditors to support the annual audit process and address any audit inquiries or findings
- Review and streamline accounting processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Stay current with accounting standards and regulations and ensure compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required
- 3-5 years of corporate accounting experience, preferably in a SaaS or technology-focused company
- CPA certification or experience working for a public accounting firm is preferred
- Strong knowledge of US GAAP and experience with financial reporting and analysis
- Excellent analytical skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities
Compensation:
- Competitive salary range based on experience ($90,000 - $110,000)
