Construction Project Manager
Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Manager to oversee and manage construction projects from inception to completion. You will ensure that projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with the required quality and safety standards. The ideal candidate will have multi-family ground up building experience (40-100 Units)
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and coordinate all aspects of construction projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Manage site operations and ensure compliance with building codes and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders and team members to ensure project objectives are met.
- Monitor project progress and implement change management procedures as necessary.
- Lead project meetings and provide regular updates to clients and upper management.
- Ensure quality assurance measures are adhered to throughout the construction process.
- Negotiate contracts and manage relationships with subcontractors and suppliers.
- Assess and mitigate risks throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role in the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles and practices.
- Excellent budgeting and scheduling skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Familiarity with building codes and safety regulations.
- Effective leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication skills for stakeholder engagement and negotiation.
- Ability to assess risks and implement effective risk management strategies.
