INBIs provide 1:1 individualized support to students with significant communication, behavioral, academic, social, emotional, and/or daily living needs across school and community settings. You’ll work as part of a collaborative team that includes clinicians, case managers, coordinators, and program leadership.
Responsibilities
- Implement instructional and behavioral strategies outlined in PBSPs, IPCs, and IEPs
- Provide direct 1:1 supervision and student support
- Collect and maintain data for progress monitoring and billing
- Support student safety using de‐escalation and physical intervention techniques as trained
- Participate in supervision, meetings, and required trainings
- Communicate professionally with families and team members
- Provide transportation to community activities
- Complete required documentation accurately and on time
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred (or nearing completion); relevant experience considered
- Experience supporting autistic individuals and/or individuals with complex needs
- Ability to pass and maintain criminal background check
- Valid driver’s license, strong driving record, and access to a reliable, insured vehicle
Position Requirements
- Mandated Reporter
- Ability to complete and maintain Handle with Care (Parts 1 & 2), Medical Handle with Care, First Aid, and CPR certifications
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and engage in physical activity, including crisis intervention when required
