Key responsibilities include comprehensive resident assessments, development and revision of individualized care plans, administration of medications and treatments, wound care, infection prevention, pain management, nutrition coordination, rehabilitation support, and coordination with physicians, therapists, social workers, and family members. You’ll lead care conferences, ensure regulatory compliance, and oversee safe medication administration and documentation in electronic health records. Instruction and supervision of CNAs and LPNs will be part of your role, fostering a collaborative team environment and promoting a culture of safety and dignity.
