Ideal qualifications and experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology
- Active SLP license in New Hampshire
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) required
- Previous experience in a school or pediatric setting preferred
- Strong collaboration, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to design and implement effective, individualized therapy plans
Key responsibilities:
- Assess and diagnose communication disorders in students of varying ages and abilities
- Develop and deliver engaging therapy sessions tailored to IEP goals
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and family members to create supportive learning environments
- Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and required reports
- Participate in IEP meetings, reviews, and team discussions
- Offer guidance on augmentative and alternative communication methods when necessary
