Senior Mechanical Technician – Broomfield Laboratories

Broomfield Laboratories, a long-standing leader in coil winding machinery and custom automation, is seeking a Senior Mechanical Technician to join our production team. This is a hands-on senior role for a skilled mechanic who thrives in a machine-building environment and can help drive production to meet customer delivery schedules.
What You’ll Do
- Lead the assembly, fitting, and alignment of large coil winding machines and related automation equipment.
- Work closely with the Production Manager and other leadership to plan, prioritize, and execute builds in line with delivery deadlines.
- Collaborate with fellow mechanics and technicians to coordinate workflow, resolve issues, and ensure quality workmanship.
- Apply expertise in mechanical systems, pneumatics, hydraulics, and precision machine shop practices.
- Troubleshoot and resolve build issues efficiently to keep projects moving forward.
- Support continuous improvement in assembly processes, tools, and production methods.
What We’re Looking For
- Extensive mechanical experience in machinery, automation, or manufacturing environments.
- Strong knowledge of pneumatics, hydraulics, and mechanical systems.
- Proven ability to work effectively within a production team and coordinate with management.
- Organizational skills to keep multiple projects on track while meeting deadlines.
- Hands-on problem-solver who can lead by example and mentor other mechanics.
