Our client, a leading medical device manufacturing company, is seeking a Packaging Operator to join their team. As a Packaging Operator, you will be part of the Production and Packaging Department supporting the Manufacturing and Quality teams. The ideal candidate will have strong attention to detail, teamwork skills, and good documentation practices, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Packaging Operator
Location: Woburn, MA
Pay Range: $21.00 per hour
What's the Job?
- Perform manual inspection, labeling, and packaging of clinical and commercial medical products.
- Ensure products are packaged according to established procedures and quality specifications.
- Inspect packaging components, identify defects, and remove nonconforming materials.
- Maintain accurate documentation, including inventory counts and batch records.
- Perform routine cleaning of packaging stations and equipment while following safety guidelines.
What's Needed?
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Minimum of 6 months of manufacturing, production, packaging, or related industry experience.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow documentation, procedures, and quality specifications.
- Strong attention to detail, basic computer skills, and basic mathematical abilities.
- Ability to work second shift, overtime as needed, and pass a fully cleared background check before starting.
