Degree in Physical Therapy, active Physical Therapist license and 1+ year of Physical Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This part-time Physical Therapist position offers the opportunity to provide essential therapy services within K-8 schools located in Lawrence, MA. The role involves traveling to various school campuses to support students developmental needs for the 2025-2026 school year.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services tailored to students in grades Kindergarten through 8th grade
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school district policies
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to student progress evaluations
- Travel onsite to assigned school locations within Lawrence, MA (mileage reimbursement provided)
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid Massachusetts state license in Physical Therapy is required
- Experience working with children in school settings preferred
- Ability to manage flexible schedules between 8 AM and 3 PM, with up to 10 hours per week
- Successful completion of fingerprinting and CORI background checks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, families, and school personnel
Contract Details:
- Start Date: August 11, 2025
- End Date: June 17, 2026
- Part-time commitment with flexible scheduling options throughout the week
- Onsite position requiring travel to multiple school campuses in Lawrence
