How you’ll spend your day
- Set up and carry out meticulous inspections on parts, components, and assemblies using mechanical and visual techniques.
- Utilize advanced tools: Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMM), FARO Arm, Keyence Wide Area CMM, micrometers, height stands, optical comparators, thread and plug gauges, gauge blocks, and plating thickness gauges.
- Own final product and assembly checks, first-piece validations, and incoming inspections to verify purchase order compliance.
- Record findings clearly and produce formal inspection reports aligned with company procedures.
- Detect non-conformances, communicate with production/assembly teams, and verify corrective actions are completed.
- Track quality trends and escalate when corrective or process improvements are warranted.
- Recommend enhancements to inspection equipment, programs, or methods to boost accuracy and throughput.
- Interface with customer and government representatives as needed.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area, and perform other duties as assigned.

What you’ll bring
- Associate’s Degree or equivalent technical school training.
- 5+ years of inspection experience with strong knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Hands-on ability with Coordinate Measuring Machines.
- Keen attention to detail; excellent organizational and analytical capabilities.
- Comfort managing multiple priorities at once; proactive problem-solver who takes initiative.
- Team-oriented communicator who collaborates effectively.
