Minimum 1+ years Paraprofessional or Special Education experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Qualifications:
- Completion of at least 60 college credits OR a valid Para certification (certification can be earned during the assignment)
- Experience working in school settings, especially with PK through 8th grade, is preferred but not required
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Patience, reliability, and a genuine passion for student development
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Background check eligibility and legal authorization to work
Responsibilities:
- Assist educators with classroom instruction, activities, and student support
- Provide one-on-one or small group guidance to students as needed
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to manage classroom routines
- Help maintain a safe, welcoming, and respectful learning environment
- Support students with special needs according to outlined plans
- Supervise students during various parts of the day, including transitions and breaks
- Participate in training and ongoing professional development
This role features a consistent schedule from 8:00am to 3:30pm, offering valuable experience for those passionate about education or considering a career in teaching.
