We're seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Mental Health Counselor to join a dedicated behavioral health team supporting children and adolescents in an inpatient psychiatric setting. What You'll Do\n

- Establish therapeutic relationships with pediatric behavioral health patients
- Support a safe, structured, and therapeutic treatment environment
- Provide direct patient care and behavioral health support
- Monitor patient behavior and communicate changes to the treatment team
- Facilitate therapeutic activities and interventions
- Assist with crisis prevention and de-escalation when needed
- Document patient interactions and observations in EPIC
- Collaborate with nursing, counseling, and psychiatric teams to support individualized care plans
- Promote patient safety and positive treatment outcomes

Requirements\n

✅ Bachelor's Degree Required
\n
✅ Minimum 3 Years of Relevant Behavioral Health Experience
\n
✅ Pediatric Experience Required
\n
✅ Current BLS Certification Required
\n
✅ Current CPI Certification Required
\n
✅ Experience working in psychiatric, mental health, or behavioral health settings
\n
✅ Strong communication, therapeutic intervention, and de-escalation skills
\n
✅ Ability to work weekends as required
\n
✅ Must successfully complete facility drug screening, including THC testing
\n
✅ Ability to document care accurately in EPIC
\n
\n
