What you’ll bring:
- Certification or valid credential as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience in educational settings supporting students through assessments, counseling, and collaboration
- Strong communication and rapport-building skills with students, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
- Up-to-date understanding of best practices in evaluation, data interpretation, and intervention planning
- Comfort utilizing various behavioral and cognitive assessment tools
- Dedication to diversity, equity, and creating supportive learning environments
Key responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and collaborate on eligibility decisions
- Support students through crisis intervention, counseling, and direct services
- Consult with educators and parents to design, implement, and assess individualized plans
- Contribute to the development of positive behavioral interventions and school-wide supports
- Lead or participate in multidisciplinary and IEP meetings
- Maintain accurate documentation and remain in compliance with state and federal guidelines
