Position Overview
Adecco Healthcare & Life Sciences is seeking a Scientist I to join a Cell Line Development team focused on advancing mammalian expression platforms and recombinant cell line technologies supporting biologic drug development.
This role offers the opportunity to contribute to innovative research aimed at improving cell line generation processes, increasing productivity, enhancing product quality, and accelerating development timelines. The successful candidate will support the development and optimization of recombinant CHO cell lines expressing complex biologic therapeutics while working within a highly collaborative and fast-paced research environment.
This position is ideal for candidates with hands-on mammalian cell culture experience who are looking to further develop expertise in cell line development, molecular biology, and biologics research.
Key ResponsibilitiesCell Line Development

Support the generation and optimization of recombinant mammalian cell lines expressing therapeutic proteins.

Assist with transfection, clone selection, and cell line screening activities.

Support platform research initiatives designed to improve productivity, stability, and product quality.

Execute multiple parallel studies supporting cell line generation workflows.
Mammalian Cell Culture
-
Perform routine mammalian cell culture activities including:
-
Sterile technique
-
Cell counting
-
Passaging
-
Cryopreservation
-
Media preparation
-
Cell maintenance
-
-
Maintain healthy suspension and adherent cell cultures following established protocols.

Support culture expansion and experimental studies utilizing mammalian expression systems.
Molecular Biology
-
Perform standard molecular biology techniques including:
-
DNA plasmid preparation
-
PCR
-
Restriction enzyme digestion
-
DNA analysis and characterization
-
-
Support gene engineering and construct development activities.
Data Analysis & Documentation
-
Record experimental observations accurately and maintain detailed laboratory documentation.

Analyze and interpret experimental results.
-
Prepare technical summaries, reports, presentations, and research updates.
-
Communicate findings effectively to project teams and leadership.
Team Collaboration
-
Work closely with scientists across Cell Line Development, Process Development, Analytical Development, and other research groups.

Participate in scientific discussions and contribute to project goals.

Maintain a collaborative, quality-focused laboratory environment.
Required QualificationsEducation
-
PhD in Biology, Cellular Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, or related scientific discipline
OR

Master's Degree with relevant industry experience
OR

Bachelor's Degree with equivalent industry experience
Required Skills & ExperienceMammalian Cell Culture

Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with mammalian cell culture.

Pay Details: $50.00 to $59.00 per hour
