Job Description 
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Scientist I to join our Analytical Development team in the Product Development Science and Technology, Biologics Development Launch division. Our team is responsible for the development, qualification, and execution of analytical methods to provide product and process understanding for biological entities from discovery through commercial stages.
The successful candidate will be a part of the Biomolecular Interaction Group which is mainly focused on method development and implementation of various immunoassays to monitor process impurities and to assess potency of AbbVie’s Biologics to support product and process development for early-phase, late-phase, and commercial programs.&nbsp; Some of the techniques/methods utilized in the group include 1) ELISAs to monitor and detect process related impurities; 2) surface plasmon resonance using Biacore for assessment of antigen binding and binding of antibody Fc receptors; and 3) qPCR to measure levels of residual DNA and mycoplasma. The role will &nbsp;involves managing all analytical aspects of biologics products on the market, overseeing commercial methods throughout their lifecycle - from method transfer, performance monitoring, troubleshooting, to method enhancement. Collaboration with other analytical teams, process development, global QC, and manufacturing science and technology groups is a crucial part of this role to meet business objectives and program milestones.
Responsibilities:

POSITION SUMMARY
Epsilon is seeking a full-time senior scientist or engineer to work as part of the Epsilon team on a wide range of environmental licensing, permitting and compliance projects. This position will encompass work primarily in the Acoustics Group.
In the Acoustics Group, the candidate will manage multiple projects simultaneously and have the opportunity to represent the company at public meetings. Attendance at INCE-related meetings and conferences will also be strongly encouraged and supported. Primary tasks include project management, sound level modeling, report preparation, leading sound level measurement programs, and business development. This position requires periodic fieldwork as well as overnight, out-of-state travel for renewable energy projects.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS
The ideal candidate will have:
 7-12 years of experience in a consulting environment,
 B.S. or B.A. in Acoustics, Engineering, Environmental Science, or Physics,
 Membership in the Institute of Noise Control Engineering (INCE) of the USA
 Experience in conducting community sound level impact assessments,
 Experience in using sound level measurement equipment,
 Experience with the CadnaA modeling software,
 Superior written and verbal communication skills, 
 Experience in presenting technical material to clients, agency staff, and/or regulatory boards, and

The successful applicant will also have strong organizational skills, be detail oriented, and have project management experience. Experience in the energy industry, materials handling business, and transportation/FHWA TNM modeling is a plus. In addition, experience in noise control engineering is preferred.
In addition to the Preferred Qualifications, the Candidate must have a valid drivers license to operate a motor vehicle for business travel, including proper insurance and registration and have all necessary paperwork to work in the USA.
