JOB SUMMARY

A Sales Support Administrator is aligned with the Sales Managers team. Their role is to directly support the Sales Representatives and Sales Manager with the preparation and delivery of equipment for sale, rental and demonstration. This role will professionally interact with the sales team, vendors and customers. This role is responsible for the ordering and receiving of all equipment and attachments, as well as processing all invoices, sales orders and rental contracts.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for ordering new machines and attachments
  • Responsible for following up/coordination of backordered equipment from vendors
  • Ensure sales inventory is correct and up to date
  • Receive and process vendor invoices
  • Receive and process customer Sales Orders
  • Process and invoice customer Rental Contracts
  • Work closely with Sales Manager to ensure proper invoicing and paperwork preparation
  • Prepare monthly commissions for Sales Reps
  • Coordinate with the Service Department in preparing machines for delivery in a timely manner
  • Arrange delivery of machines (sold, rental, demo, equipment shows) and attachments
  • Update customer records
  • Provides sales management support
  • Other duties may be assigned

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE / ATTRIBUTES

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Provides outstanding customer experience.
  • Resolve problems with a sense of urgency by clarifying; determining the cause of the problem; selecting and explaining the best solution to solve the problem; expediting correction or adjustment; following up to ensure resolution.
  • Makes recommendations and implements process improvements.
  • Excellent organizational and multi-tasking skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Bachelor’s Degree (preferred)
  • 2 Years sales experience (preferred)

WORKING CONDITIONS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit for long periods of time; talk or hear; perform fine motor, hand, and finger skills in the use of a keyboard, telephone, or writing. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; and reach with arms and/or hands. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Ability to periodically lift up to 15 pounds. Ability to work in an Office & Warehouse environment.
