SITE MANAGER – INDUSTRIAL TOOL CRIB & INVENTORY OPERATIONS

Location: Keene, NH
Schedule: Full-Time | Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM

Base Salary: ~$65,000 (flexible for experienced background)

Position Overview

The Site Manager is responsible for overseeing daily tool crib, inventory, and purchasing operations at the customer site. This role ensures tools, equipment, and consumables are properly inventoried, issued, maintained, replenished, and reported to support production and maintenance teams efficiently. This is a hands-on leadership role ideal for someone with experience in industrial inventory management, tool crib operations, purchasing, and customer-facing support.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage daily tool crib and stockroom operations, ensuring accuracy, organization, and efficiency

· Maintain and update inventory management systems for tools, MRO supplies, and shop materials

· Issue tools and products to customer employees based on job and production requirements

· Analyze system-generated usage reports to forecast demand and identify purchasing needs

· Prepare quotes for new product requests and special projects, following up as needed

· Place and manage purchase orders in P21 for stock replenishment and special orders

· Monitor critical inventory levels and ensure uninterrupted supply availability

· Acknowledge purchase orders and update lead times and delivery schedules

· Prepare reports on inventory levels, pricing, turnover, and stockroom performance metrics

· Identify and implement cost-saving and inventory optimization opportunities

· Maintain tools and equipment in proper working condition and coordinate replacements or repairs

· Deliver professional, customer-focused service while supporting operational efficiency

Qualifications & Experience

· High School Diploma or GED required

· 2–3 years of purchasing or inventory management experience preferred

· Experience in tool crib, industrial supply, manufacturing, or MRO environments a plus

· Working knowledge of industrial tools and equipment strongly preferred

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office and inventory systems

· Experience with cycle counts, FIFO, inventory reduction, and stock optimization

· Ability to prioritize tasks and operate with a sense of urgency

· Capable of lifting and handling tools and equipment as needed

· Professional demeanor with strong customer service and communication skills
