We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to join our family childcare team. Hours will be part time to start then will be full time including benefits with rapid advancement availible as well.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for nurturing and educating children in a safe and engaging environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, providing educational activities, and ensuring their overall well-being. The Childcare Provider will play a crucial role in fostering a positive developmental experience for each child in their care.

We offer room for a low child to teacher ratio as we are a smaller family childcare and not a daycare center. There will be room for advancement and a clean fun work environment every day.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and engage with children in a safe and nurturing environment.
  • Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development.
  • Provide care for infants, including feeding, diaper changing, and ensuring comfort.
  • Manage behavior effectively using positive reinforcement techniques.
  • Maintain a clean and organized childcare space, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
  • Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns.
  • Assist children with daily routines such as meal times, nap times, and personal hygiene.
  • Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
  • Can offer tuition assitance to long term employees

Experience

  • Previous experience in childcare settings such as daycare centers, nannying, or preschool environments is preferred.
  • Knowledge of early childhood education principles is a plus.
  • Familiarity with first aid practices is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with children with disabilities is an asset.
  • Strong behavior management skills to effectively guide children's actions positively.
  • A genuine love for working with children and supporting their growth and development.

  • Spanish speaking a plus but not required
