Job Description

Job DescriptionGuardian Angel Senior Services is Looking for a Live-In CaregiverSalary: $240 – $360 a DayLive-In Rates (Work Week = Monday–Sunday. Day 1 starts first day worked of the week)

• Live-in caregivers are paid for 16 hours of a 24-hour shift, with 8 hours of unpaid rest

• Caregivers should receive 8 hours of rest at night

• Live-in caregivers will have a sleeping area separate from the client and access to a bath/shower area

• Clients are responsible for providing food. If this is not possible, the caregiver will be reimbursed a $10/day meal stipend

Qualifications

• Own vehicle to get to and from clients – must have reliable transportation

• Attention to detail

• Home Health Aide (HHA), PCA, or LNA certification

• Ability to write, read, and speak English fluently

• Good time management skills

• Willingness to adhere to health and safety standards

• Respectful and compassionate

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills

• Strong ethics

Responsibilities

• Assist client with ambulation and mobility around the house

• Assist client with personal care and hygiene

• Plan and prepare meals with assistance from the client

• Assist with shopping errands

• Perform light housekeeping duties

• Be a pleasant and supportive companion

• Report any unusual incidents
