Job Title: Emergency Department Registered Nurse (ED RN)
Unit: Emergency Department
Location: Woodsville, NH
Assignment Length: 13 Weeks
Schedule:
- Shift: Nights (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
- Hours: 36 hours/week (12-hour shifts, 3 days/week)
Compensation:
- Travel Pay: From $2,175/week
- Local Pay: From $45/hour
Job Summary
The Emergency Department (ED) is seeking a skilled, hardworking, and dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the team. The department operates 24/7, providing emergency care to patients of all ages with a wide range of illnesses and injuries. This role is within a Level IV Trauma Center, supported by board-certified emergency physicians and experienced nursing staff.
Qualifications
- Minimum 2 years of experience as an RN in the Emergency Department
- Successful completion of an accredited RN program
- Active RN license in the state of New Hampshire
Certifications Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS)
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS)
- Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in planning, delivering, and evaluating patient care within scope of practice
- Provide appropriate, evidence-based nursing care using clinical knowledge and skills
- Assess patient conditions and interpret clinical data to determine care needs
- Deliver age-appropriate care based on patient-specific requirements
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
