- Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Thursday (7:00am–5:00pm)

About the Role
We’re seeking a hands-on SMT Machine Operator to join a growing production team in Portsmouth, NH. In this role, you’ll operate and maintain automated SMT (Surface Mount Technology) equipment to produce printed circuit boards for electronic assemblies. If you have a background in assembly or machine operation and enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, this is an excellent opportunity to expand your skills and advance your career.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up and operate SMT equipment, including screen printers, solder paste inspection machines, pick & place machines, reflow ovens, and conveyors
- Replenish component reels using automated splicing tools
- Monitor equipment performance, perform basic troubleshooting, and escalate issues as needed
- Hand-place electronic components on circuit boards when required
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance on production equipment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Follow safety and quality procedures, and support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- 6+ months of assembly or machine operation experience
- 1 year of SMT experience preferred
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions in a collaborative environment
