IT Help Desk Technician (Entry Level / Level 1) Computer Support Technician

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work directly with our staff to maintain and support our Windows-based infrastructure.
  • Provides support on our desktops, notebooks, collaborative devices, and technology equipment.
  • Responsible for maintaining, analyzing, troubleshooting, and repairing hardware and computer systems.
  • Works well in a team environment and can escalate cases in a timely manner.
  • Self-motivated, follow directions well, take initiative, and work independently.
  • Maintain a friendly, service-oriented attitude and employ creative problem-solving skills.
  • Able to communicate and resolve technical problems with non-technical people.
  • Eager to learn and be trained in new IT skills & IT processes.
  • Volunteering for new tasks and projects without waiting to be asked.
  • Collaborate effectively with third-party vendors to resolve hardware/software issues.

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Windows 10 /11 2012-r2 / 2016
  • Microsoft Office 2016 – O365
  • PC Hardware, Wireless Networks, Peripherals, Phone systems, and Various Printers
  • Microsoft Active Directory user account move/add/change.
  • IPads, IPhones
  • TCP/IP Networking and associated services (DNS, DHCP, etc.)
  • IT Helpdesk ticketing and knowledgebase systems, utilizing the system to record,

assign track, close and analyze all IT Helpdesk requests.

  • Education: Information Technology or related area of study preferred.
  • Occasional after-hours systems maintenance & projects will be required.
  • Traveling between sites in Haverhill & Andover, and sometimes to Londonderry NH
