Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

Make a difference in the lives of students as a full-time Occupational Therapist for the 2026-2027 school year! This is a contract opportunity located near White River Junction, VT, where you’ll support students’ learning and development through specialized therapies and interventions. Certified Occupational Therapy Assistants (COTAs) will also be considered for this position.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Active OT license or COTA credential (required)
  • Experience working with children or adolescents in a school-based setting strongly preferred
  • Strong understanding of IEP development and goal implementation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, families, and support staff
  • Adaptable and organized, able to work independently and manage a varied caseload

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide occupational therapy assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver direct services to help students improve their fine motor, sensory, and adaptive skills
  • Participate in multi-disciplinary IEP meetings, providing input for student goals and progress
  • Consult with teachers and classroom staff on adaptations, accommodations, and strategies to support student success
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation, progress notes, and compliance with all administrative requirements
  • Engage families and caregivers in the therapy process and provide resources or training as needed
