Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, active Social Worker license and minimum 1+ years School Social Work experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A contract opportunity is available for a skilled Social Worker specializing in telehealth services within a school setting. This role is based in Pittsfield, MA, and focuses on providing remote social work support to students through virtual platforms.
Responsibilities include:
- Conducting telehealth sessions to assess and address students' social, emotional, and behavioral needs.
- Collaborating with educators and school staff to develop intervention plans and support strategies.
- Maintaining thorough documentation of student interactions and progress in accordance with privacy regulations.
- Providing crisis intervention and referrals to appropriate community resources when necessary.
- Participating in virtual team meetings and case consultations.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Licensed Social Worker or equivalent credential appropriate for school settings.
- Proven experience delivering social work services via telehealth platforms.
- Strong understanding of child and adolescent development and school-based interventions.
